Chinglish is a bilingual web application that features the best Chinese-English language translation software currently available on the web. In this ongoing redesign project, our first task was to re-work the interaction design for the homepage, giving more immediate access to the translation function that was previously buried in the webmail tool. Visually, the new design has a cleaner look, with a sense of space and simplicity. Working in an agile fashion, the new design will be gradually expanded to include other sections of the site, as the project progresses.
