Swami Atmachaithanya

Swami Atmachaithanya is a spiritual leader based in Kerala, South India. As well as travelling extensively, he runs a charity providing education and healthcare services. His organisation required a full CMS-driven website with an event calendar and facility to upload various media including audio and video. We delivered a WordPress-based solution that affords the client considerable flexibility, allowing for multiple authors, and allowing for considerable expansion in the future. The front-end features a flexible-width layout for optimal display across a range of different screen sizes, whilst the layout also gracefully accommdates text-enlargement for better accessibility.

Chinglish

Chinglish is a bilingual web application that features the best Chinese-English language translation software currently available on the web. In this ongoing redesign project, our first task was to re-work the interaction design for the homepage, giving more immediate access to the translation function that was previously buried in the webmail tool. Visually, the new design has a cleaner look, with a sense of space and simplicity. Working in an agile fashion, the new design will be gradually expanded to include other sections of the site, as the project progresses.

We redesigned her portfolio website to give more prominence to her paintings; minimising other elements yet still providing clear navigation. Extra functionality to browse thumbnails or view a slideshow is available from a sliding panel on the gallery pages. The site also features 'friendly' URLs to make link sharing easier.

We completely restructured and redesigned their previous website in order to more clearly communicate the company's strengths and provide a brand identity. The site uses a small amount of Flash on the homepage, which is gracefully degraded in non-supporting browsers.
